John Elway and the Punk Rock Band, "Elway"

This is getting to be a pretty funny story that could only have become a story during this mid-twenty first century and during the NFL Lockout, where news of any note is hard to come by.

Apparently this punk rock band has named itself  "Elway"  with the purposeful intent of getting attention in the state of Colorado and in Denver.  Elway himself has nothing to do with the rock band at all, and is not wanting his last name to be honored in this fashion.

So just for chuckles and grins, here are some stories about this which you will probably either get mad about, or that will make you laugh a bit.
