Loss to the Bengals means nothing - Tebow looked good, and Orton even better!
Not too much to say today, except that I am kinda happy about Kyle Orton being the professional QB on the field, and getting the credit from McD for it.
Tebow did exactly what I said he would do. He worked hard, and he ran with the ball. He even ran a touchdown in. Amazing isn't he?
I am waiting for the first home game where I will be sitting in the north end zone area taking it all in. Wondering how we will do against Seattle.
The team looked good, and Royal was a fireball. Overall, I am impressed at the first outing. Still, there were some defensive blunders which I did not expect. Guys reaching out kinda "toward the ball carrier" but not quite getting there. That will be corrected.
McDaniels will be sitting in the video room, with them guys, narrating the action and stopping it when he wants to put a guy on the spot. Several need to be smitten a bit. That is ok. There was a lot of real team spirit and the guys all seem to be a unit.
We are looking for those "intangibles" aren't we? Every Sunday from here on out, the world is back in it's correct alignment and the NFL is underway. Sure is good
