Brandon Marshall will go somewhere - Where?
There are some speculations about where Brandon Marshall is going, but no one really knows yet and that probably includes Brandon as well. He is almost certainly leaving the Broncos due to his rocky, sometimes funny and always entertaining relationship with Josh McDaniels.
One of my favorite sources of information is the Bleacher Report. There are some articles there right now about this that have Brandon possibly going to Tampa Bay or Baltimore. Really both of these are quite possible, especially Baltimore. I am just going to guess that there will be other teams that will want him if those don't work out.
NFL Trade Rumor: Is Brandon Marshall Headed For Baltimore?
Disgruntled Denver Broncos' receiver, Brandon Marshall, is on his way out of Denver . It won't be officially known until after March, as players cannot be traded or become free agents until then. However, all signs point to an exit from Denver, and the fact that the Baltimore Ravens have made it known that they need/want an upgrade at their No. 1 receiver spot, suggests Marshall is a top candidate.
Does Brandon Marshall to the Buccaneers Make Sense for Both Parties?
Although he is a tremendous talent, every NFL team knows Marshall wants out of Denver (and vice-versa), so any team interested in him will not have to give up something significant, like a first-round pick. However, we all know that to be false. I am not suggesting Denver requires Tampa to surrender the third pick in the draft, as that would be unwise on Denver's part, but the Buccaneers have 10 total picks in the upcoming draft, two of which come in the second round. After you have a look at those stories just consider some trends we have seen already. Coaches and staff running out the door, with job offers waiting all over the league. Broncos having to hire within to get a defensive coach (Martindale) and the disgruntled attitudes that were all too evident at the end of the season. Can you imagine the difficulty McDaniels is going to have getting top quality players when the draft opens up? No one will want to go there. Everyone is running away from the Broncos.
Maybe now is our opportunity to join the team? Har Har, just kidding!
I am guessing the trade rumors will continue to trickle in for the next 6 weeks and then the real meat will go on the shelf. Do you imagine Tony Sheffler will be wanting to leave? I think so and for exactly the same reason Brandon Marshall want to leave. Do we have any wild guesses on this one? I can't wait for the cool news as it comes out. Wish things were different, but we all have to make the best of this mess.
