Will the Denver Broncos please start Tom Brandstater?

This picture above kind of symbolizes the current Bronco condition. Being figured out and overrun. Changes are needed to get the Broncos back up and running (and passing).

After the most spectacular season starter in many years, the 6 and 0 Broncos seem to have become the peat and repeat team of last year and previous years, only worse. Winning isn't everything is the old adage, but in Pro Football the thing should say "Winning is everything, especially if you have stopped winning". Now the ball is in another court so to speak. Now they are the 6 and 3 Broncos, but the consolation is that this is not the worst record in the NFL ..... yet.

Washington Redskins put on a real show of determination after the first quarter. During the first quarter the Broncos looked like the smooth team that beat the Pats and the Cowboys earlier. Touchdowns, completed passes, nice play execution and more. After that first was over, so was the show. Broncos were figured out. Plans to use the infield pass not working.

Orton got injured and sat on the sidelines for the second half. This after he actually shaved and everything. What is the world coming to? Orton said after the game it was too soon to say whether he will be able to play against the San Diego Chargers next Sunday.

Now I am not on the coaching staff, but if I was it would be time right now to bring out Tom Brandstater (future franchise quarterback) and let him learn what pressure is really all about. I think he can handle it just fine. Why not make the right decision now before the season is gone?

Broncos will you listen? Use Tom Brandstater and start the recovery now, instead of trying to hide him away and pretend he doesn't exist. Tom can do it, and now is the time for the change. I asked for this last summer, but was ignored of course. Now is the time to change the plan. If McDaniels does this, he will be the hero again. Simple solution!
