Ty Law brings defensive strength
The Broncos announced on Saturday that five-time pro bowl cornerback Ty Law has been signed. To make room for Law on the roster, cornerback Jack Williams was waived. Law is a 15th-year veteran who played his first 10 seasons for the New England Patriots, before moving on to play two seasons apiece with the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs. Named to the Pro Bowl four times with the Patriots and once with the Jets, Law owns three Super Bowl rings from his time with New England in 2001, 2003 and 2004. He has appeared in 196 career regular-season games, making 187 starts while totaling 835 tackles, five sacks, 52 interceptions, 164 pass breakups, seven forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries.
