Well Sunday is only 5 days away or so, and the team is preparing for the Browns to come in to Invesco Mile High and play a football game. How are the Browns fairing so far?
Big plays, turnovers doom Browns
Joshua Cribbs provided the first-half sizzle, sending the Cleveland Browns Stadium crowd into a frenzy.
Adrian Peterson, though, was the silencer.
Peterson and the Vikings were too much for the Browns in the second half of what became a 34-20 Vikings win Sunday. Peterson's highlight reel, 64-yard touchdown capped a run of 24 unanswered second-half points in the season opener for both teams.
The Browns led, 13-10, at halftime thanks in large part to Cribbs' 67-yard punt return touchdown. But two Browns' first-half drives deep into Viking territory ended in field goals, not touchdowns, and the Browns struggled to get anything going offensively in the second half until the game was out of reach.

Riding the momentum after last week's dramatic 12-7 win in Cincinnati, the Broncos will host the Cleveland Browns at INVESCO Field at Mile High to open their 2009 home schedule. The Browns are led by Brady Quinn at quarterback and Braylon Edwards at wide receiver, another dangerous combination. Last season, the Broncos won in comeback fashion in Cleveland. If this year's battle is anywhere near as exciting, fans could be in for a treat as the Broncos look to go 2-0.
