Great Win for the Broncos today

Wow, what a day of football and baseball. Our teams won today big time.

Broncos looked great for the most part, and Orton showed he can follow instructions and not lose yardage in a sack. He tossed it away several times today avoiding both the sack and the interception as well. I have to admit we have a good running game and a good defense as well.

Dummerville sacked Quinn 4 times. Both teams had a turnover resulting in a score to the other side, but Broncos came out on top. Lots of great running gains today by the Broncos and good execution overall all day long. Davis had 10 tackles on the day against his old team. Defense looks like a big star this year. If they keep this type of play up for several more games, they will get national attention.

I am surprised so far. I am not yet ready to release my position and say McDaniels is right in all his decisions, but I am kind of seeing him in a different light. While Marshall spent quite a bit of time on the bench, when he did play he made yardage and contributed to the win.

While he was on the sidelines once, Shannon Sharpe (who was inducted in the Ring of Fame) commented that the team should use their weapons. He said Marshall is an offensive weapon and if they want to win games, they have to use their weapons. Way to talk it up there Shannon. You worked that one in quite well.

Best record the Broncos could possibly have at this early point in the season. Shall we go for 3? I heard my guy Cutler has tossed some interceptions too, is that true? Well, Orton did not, but I still think Brandstater is the guy for the job at some point, either here or somewhere else. He will be a big factor in some team's history.

Good job Broncos, and McDaniels too! Broncos 27, Browns 6
