When Jay Cutler steps out on the field

I know that Jay Cutler is going out on the field on December 3rd against Seattle, and I must say we will need all the breaks we can get to win that game. Seattle is winning and winning, and playing like a championship team. Cutler will be like John Elway when he first started in active play. Jay is a champion already, but getting used to the daily grind of the NFL is something Elway went through, and it takes time to be the best QB in the land, so give him some time!

He may very well pull off some miracles, and I know the Bronco fans will be forgiving of his errors up to a point, but we all hope somehow that he can salvage the season and the Denver Broncos can end up somewhere on the top end of the heap. Denver always wants a winner team, fans and coaches, everybody. But the fact remains that he is new as a starter on the field, and we all must allow him the time to adjust to the new daily grind. He sure did well in the pre-season, and that gives everyone hope.

We have all pretty much given up on JP, and we all wish him well, including seeing him back on the field again as back up QB when and if Cutler needs a rest, but we are all over the Jake Plummer starter thing, and if he actually does go out on the field on December 3rd, I am certain many Bronco fans will simply turn off their TV sets and go shopping or something.

when elway started he was tossed right into the mix in game 1. no real prep time (unless you consider being trained by your dad to be a pro qb ever since you could hold a ball 'prep time').
jay has had some time to settle and see what needs to be done from the sidelines. he has proven he has the skills, but will he be a peyton manning or a ryan leaf when it comes to taking his skills and applying them against 350 pound rushing linemen? will he be consistant like elway or will he be a plummer?
the broncos are simply not a playoff team this year even though they will make the playoffs. this switch happens at the right time.
bronco fans identify their team with their quarterback. craig morton, elway... and with only elam and shanahan left from the super bowl teams we want our team to be represented by some kind of team leader on the field. we have been in limbo for a while.
jay wont be another elway and we as fans have to realize that. the elways and mannings and marinos and montanas are rare. we got lucky once to get him. we cant be spoiled. 10 teams out there would be happy to have plummer. but we want more. were used to more. were ready for more.
trust in bolan, faith in shanahan and eyes on cutler... its a new era!
